Arsenal participated in a youth savings challenge with 144 other U.S. credit unions
More than 65,000 young members collectively deposited $15 million+ into their kids savings accounts at 145 credit unions that participated in a national savings challenge sponsored by the Credit Union National Association and Fiserv this past April.
The numbers were released in early June; the total reported included 652 Arsenal members who deposited more than a quarter million dollars ($232,307.27) into their accounts. Two other credit unions from St. Louis and one from central Missouri also participated.
A credit union in Portland, Oregon, was randomly selected as the winner of the $1,000 grand prize. The credit union awarded 10 young members $100 each.
