Help keep St. Louis warm; donate coats and other items to Warners’ Warm-Up
It’s hard to imagine experiencing the harsh St. Louis winter without the proper outerwear. For some people, going through winter without adequate coats, hats, gloves and other clothing is a reality.
Once again, Arsenal will be a collection site for Kurt and Brenda Warner’s First Things First Foundation and its 18th annual Warners’ Warm-Up Coat Drive. Stop by your closest Arsenal branch (excluding NGA) between Nov. 1-14 to donate new or gently used coats and other winter clothing.
After the collection, Operation Food Search will deliver the coats to men, women and children in the Bi-State area in need.
If you can’t stop by a branch or other drop-off site to make a donation, you can visit KurtWarner.org to make a monetary donation. It only takes $15 to purchase a coat for a child in need, the group who needs them the most.
Last year we collected a total of 130 items for those in need. Let’s try to help even more people this year!
Arsenal’s commitment to the community
Warners’ Warm-up is a part of Arsenal’s social responsibility initiative, which includes such programs as providing sack lunches for the homeless and collecting school supplies for children who cannot afford them. Other social responsibility efforts include holding recycling events for old electronics and teaching young people about finances in the classroom.
