As the 2020 model year comes to an end, dealers are in a rush to get old models off their lots to make room for new inventory. Now that it’s late into the fall, you can expect to see steep price cuts on older models on Black Friday weekend.

Should you buy on Black Friday or Cyber Monday?

If you want to buy a car, you should stay home on Black Friday. A lot of people take off work this day, and dealers will be slammed. Instead, do your shopping online on Black Friday (or Saturday or Sunday). On the dealer’s website, ask them for more information about the price of the vehicle you want.

On Cyber Monday, when the dealers will have a ton of online inquiries, you’ll already have a price and be one step ahead in the negotiating process. You’ll be able to set up a test drive
