Another year of growth and helping members
Presenting a quick recap of our 74th Annual Membership Meeting.
On Thursday, April 28, we held our annual membership meeting live via Zoom. This was the third year in a row we held our meeting this way, and at this point, it feels like the new normal way to do it.
Is this the new normal?
While most things in our lives have gotten back to the way they were pre-pandemic, higher prices for consumers are now another part of our new normal.
Members like you are facing higher prices for basics like groceries, fuel, utilities and rent. Demand for homes and building materials are skyrocketing. A lack of available new vehicles due to chip shortages has led to the price of used cars going up, too.
Throughout 2021, we aimed to help you through these price increases with simple, everyday solutions designed to make your life easier. Learn more about how we helped our members, how we served our community and some of our plans for 2022 by viewing the presentation videos below.

Volunteer election results
During the meeting, three Arsenal members were elected into office by acclamation. All volunteers were elected to serve 3-year terms.
Two of the volunteers, Dominic Consolino (board of directors) and Cheryl Chibnall (supervisory committee), were incumbents. Peggy Haberberger, a former volunteer who previously retired from service in 2019, will be returning to serve a term on the board of directors.
After the annual membership meeting, directors re-elected Gary Dierks as board chairman, Bob Killion as vice chairman, Juanita Novotny as treasurer, and Keith Emery as secretary.
2022 scholarship award winners
This year we were able to award $1,500 scholarships to five deserving high school seniors pursuing higher education this fall. Since 1997, when we started our scholarship program, we have awarded a total of $101,650 to 102 students who’ve shown excellence in academics, a strong commitment to their communities and outstanding overall character.

We would like to thank our HR department for coordinating and putting the Zoom meeting together. Thank you to the marketing department for creating the content for the annual report and scholarship presentations.
Thank you to our volunteers who take the time to serve and help steer the direction and growth of the credit union. Special thanks to Carolyn Moore for her 3-1/2 years of volunteer service on our board directors. She was appointed as an associate director in late 2018 and later elected elected to a board director position by membership in April 2019. She completed her term in office this year and is succeeded by Peggy Haberberger.
