All it takes is a minimum deposit of $500 to earn interest. If you deposit a minimum of $2,500 of funds from an outside account into a new CD at Arsenal, you’ll earn a 0.25% APY* rate bump.

If member finds a higher advertised rate at another financial institution, they can submit proof of the competing ad/email/screenshot for the same term via the cd rate match form at arsenalcu.com, or they can bring the competing ad to their local Arsenal branch. Rate match can be from any financial institution, with the exception of online only financial institutions. If the advertised rate is for a term that Arsenal does not currently offer, the credit union will match at the closest term offered. Limit one CD per rate match. Not eligible on current CDs at the credit union. New CD must be opened. Bonus rate of 0.25% may be applied to any certificate except 15-month opened with new funds of $2,500 or more not currently on deposit at Arsenal Credit Union. Minimum deposit of $500 required to earn interest. The minimum balance requirement is $100 for members age 18 and under to earn the stated APY. All certificates (with the exception of 3-month term) have the option of paying quarterly or monthly interest that would be transferred to another Arsenal Credit Union account. Interest checks may be paid monthly for all certificates with a $10,000 minimum balance. Selecting any of these interest options will affect the annual percentage yields quoted – the annual percentage yields are calculated based on quarterly compounding of the interest. Fees may reduce earnings on the account. A penalty rate may be imposed for early withdrawal. Credit union membership and qualifications are required.
