In an ongoing demonstration of the credit union philosophy of “people helping people,” we support charitable organizations in the communities where our members live and work.

For consideration of your request, and to ensure a prompt reply, please complete the form below. Consideration for donations will be made based on policy and availability of funds.

Summary of Arsenal Credit Union’s civic responsibility policy

Arsenal may make charitable contributions or donate funds to:

  1. An organization that is tax-exempt under 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code, provided that the organization conducts activities in a community that’s in the credit union’s field of membership (FOM)
  2. A worthy cause or activity that is not part of or sponsored by a 501(c)3 organization, provided the organization performs activities based in the credit union’s FOM.

Those not eligible to receive donations/contributions include:

  • Political or partisan organizations
  • For-profit organizations
  • Individual schools
  • Religious groups
  • Ethnic groups
  • Labor groups
  • Fraternal groups
  • Individuals seeking funds for personal endeavors such as trips, beauty pageants, sports programs, walk-a-thons, etc.

    Please include supporting documentation, such as proof of non-profit status, brochures, posters, solicitation letters, etc.

All requests are reviewed within two weeks. If additional information is needed, an official from Arsenal Credit Union will contact you. You will be notified by phone if your request is approved or not.
