In 2022, we were able to run two rounds of our Arsenal Community Impact Fund. This program is designed to help nonprofit organizations continue their missions in the communities where our members live and work.
For this round, we’re awarding $10,500 to seven different organizations. Each organization has been awarded a $1,500 grant.
In total, we’ve awarded $44,800 to local nonprofit organizations through the Arsenal Community Impact Fund.

The Breakfast Club
Located in Florissant, Missouri
Their mission: To educate the community on breast health and provide support services to breast cancer survivors. The Breakfast Club also distributes bras and prostheses to women who can’t afford them, holds monthly support groups, provides comfort kits for women going through chemotherapy and much more.
What they’ll use the funds for: This grant will help support the ongoing efforts of The Breakfast Club. We’ll also continue to host mobile mammography units at some of our branches.
Their mission: To support children with pediatric cancer and their families during and after treatment. Their project supports families with programs such as financial support, an annual toy drive, gift cards, social events, a birthday club and more.
What they’ll use the funds for: Assistance from the Arsenal Community Impact Fund helps fund gift cards and provides meals and gifts for families during the holidays.
Their mission: To bring free books and authors to underserved St. Louis area schools, empower kids and promote equity in education. Since it was founded in 2019, The Noble Neighbor has donated more than 8,000 books to children and connected them with more than 50 authors.
What they’ll use the funds for: The Noble Neighbor will bring author Tami Charles to schools to provide a free book to more than 240 kids.
Their mission: To prevent abuse, neglect and exploitation of youth and adults at risk or suffering from homelessness. This organization works with the community to restore and empower the lives of youth and adults who are at risk or have been victimized and rescued from abuse and exploitation.
What they’ll use the funds for: Grant money will go toward an emergency shelter fund to help take care of the costs of temporary housing for homeless individuals and families in Jefferson County.
Their mission: To provide homeless cats and dogs with the highest quality of life and a second chance to find a forever family. They are a “no-kill” sanctuary and provide dedicated love and care to more than 400 homeless cats and dogs daily.
What they’ll use the funds for: Funds from the Arsenal Community Impact Fund will go toward shelter, food, medical care and love for these animals each day.
Their mission: To provide advocacy, support and independent living skills training to individuals with disabilities, seniors and others in need.
What they’ll use the funds for: A no-cost summer youth class for teens with any disability in Jefferson County. It will also help provide simulated driver education training.
Their mission: This organization is a 100-percent foster-based nonprofit. Their mission is to save dogs from high-kill shelters. They also foster strays and abandoned and surrendered dogs regardless of breed or size.
What they’ll use the funds for: Providing medical care for dogs at the shelter before they’re able to find their forever homes.
