As a member of Arsenal Credit Union, you have access to over 5,600 Shared Branch locations across the country. You can visit these shared branch locations to make regular transactions, deposit checks, pay loans, etc. It’s a really convenient feature if you’re running errands or out of town and not close to an Arsenal branch.
With account takeover fraud on the rise, we’ve added new ID-proofing security when accessing your account in person at these shared branch locations. This new fraud prevention measure allows us to make certain it’s YOU trying to access your account, not an imposter.
How does it work?
If you bank at one of our Shared Branch locations, a teller can now identify and authenticate members with out-of-state IDs in the branch through a QR code and one-time passcode multi-factor authentication verification.
- Scan the QR code located in the branch or visit verify.coop.org.
- Select your credit union’s name from a drop-down list.
- Enter your member number and the last four digits of your social security number.
- Upload a photo of your ID.
- Take a selfie: Save your validation for a quicker experience the next time you use a Shared Branch location.
- Show your one-time passcode to the teller (passcode is valid for 20 minutes).
When using a Shared Branch location, please ask employees of the credit union you’re visiting where to find the QR code. If you have questions about using this new security system, please feel free to reach us by live chat or call us at 314.962.6363.
