Helping the St. Louis community means more than just low rates on loans and free checking

Doing good in the community and being socially responsible are both important to us. Even though we’re not a charity, our care for people goes beyond offering the typical community credit union services. It applies to all people.

Community Credit Union Impact Fund

In 2020, we started the Arsenal Community Impact Fund to help local organizations do what they do best — serve the St. Louis Community and beyond.

$69,900

awarded to over 30 nonprofit organizations.

Designed to help organizations that weren’t able to fundraise due to the pandemic.

Provided employee volunteer hours to these organizations.

Supplied organizations with other valuable resources.

March of the Pups

Every March, Arsenal makes a donation to a local nonprofit that supports and takes care of our four-legged friends.

In 2024, we donated $2,000 to local pet nonprofits close to our branches in the St. Louis community, including Crestwood Animal Shelter, Second Chance Ranch, Gateway Pet Guardians and Five Acres Animal Shelter.

While this program only takes place in March, all Arsenal branches are dog-friendly throughout the year!

Information is power. Financial education is vital for the future. Arsenal visits classrooms and provides digital-based financial education to schools in the St. Louis community.

As a community credit union, we don’t aim for recognition, but we’ve earned a total of 17 Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Awards for our community involvement efforts. We’ve also earned eight Alphonse Desjardins Awards for our youth financial education efforts and one for our adult education program.
